MAN Truck & Bus have an ongoing requirement to service and support existing customers as well as nurturing potential new customers to get them to experience the breadth and quality of the MAN range.
MAN had over 40,000 data records from a vast number of data sets, making it impossible to accurately target customers and prospects. In order to address the problem, the data would need to be cleansed, de-duped and merged into a single database. This would then enable them to use email marketing, direct mail and outbound telemarketing to target operators with much greater success.
In addition to our extensive data cleansing services, we developed a database tool that enabled the client to adopt a systemised approach for integrated campaigns. An additional lead management bolt on was also developed, to allow the client to capture feedback from the various sales teams.
Using our trusted data insight we quickly cleansed MAN's data enabling it to be segmented to highly targeted data sets, for example construction-only operators and those only interested in contract hire. We were then able to provide email marketing, direct mail and outbound telemarketing to over 200,000 targeted individuals, sparing the client unnecessary costs and keeping operator inboxes spam free. Following this success, MAN also employed us to set up a dedicated inbound enquiry line to further boost their sales leads.
